I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 25 years of experience.

Tameran enjoys meeting people where they are as they journey to becoming who they want to be. Her motto, ‘I will succeed in spite of, not fail because of’, has sustained her throughout her own journey to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor.

ABOUT TAMERAN
Tameran enjoys meeting people where they are as they journey to becoming who they want to be. Her motto, ‘I will succeed in spite of, not fail because of’, has sustained her throughout her own journey to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida State University before completing her master’s degree in professional counseling from Georgia State University.
She honed her clinical skills in diverse settings, including inpatient stabilization/detoxification units, comorbid outpatient programs, and community-based initiatives. Her heart for the well-being of her community is evident. Tameran has volunteered with enrichment programs for young women and girls, as well as character development initiatives for juvenile offenders. Additionally, Tameran has provided vital mental health services to homeless women and their children. For nearly a decade, she has served as a keynote speaker at women’s events discussing the importance of mental health and wellness. She currently mentors women aspiring to enter the field of professional counseling.
